Hey everybody, how's it going Today We're going to be going over and showing you how to install the SEPA custom fit towing mirrors here on our 2020 GMC Sierra 1500. So a lot of questions we get about these towing mirrors here, is that they're worried about restricting some features that may be on the vehicle such as the fold in or breakaway feature. We're not going to have any issues with that. As you can see here, we can still fold our mirrors completely in without contacting the vehicle. So now we're going to give you guys a little bit of a better visual as to what you're going to be seeing when you're in the cab of your truck. So right now I'm standing directly beside our trailer and you can see I'm going to be visible in our factory mirror. more

Longview Slip On Towing Mirrors Installation - 2019 Ford F-150- Video
Hey guys, today, we're going to be taking a look and showing you how to install the Longview custom towing mirrors here on our 2019 Ford F-150.So here, just to give you guys an example of the improvements we're going to have with our custom towing mirrors, as you can see now, I'm going to be visible here in our factory mirrors. But if I we're to step out to the right here, which would emulate a passing car, we wouldn't be able to see ourselves anymore in the factory mirror. We would however, then become visible in our custom towing mirrors. So these custom towing years here, they're going to be an excellent option for our F150. If we find ourselves to be towing frequently, they're going to be a must-have item.So the main thing that these are really going to improve is really when we're out on the highway. We're out on the highway, we have a very long rig with our truck and our trailer, and if we need to change lanes, we really need to account for a large amount of space, which isn't always visible here in our factory mirrors. more

CIPA Dual-View Clip-on Towing Mirror Installation - 2020 Mazda CX-5- Video

And today we're going to take a look at the CIPA Universal Dual-View Mirror for towing on our 2020 Mazda CX-5.So this towing mirror is going to be a great addition. Whenever you are hauling anything behind your vehicle or you want that extra security and view while you're driving, it will provide about an extra lane and a half field of view.So a couple of nice things about this towing mirror are the adjustable straps here that have multiple points on the ladder in order to get that nice snug fit with this CX-5 mirror. The bottom section here kind of is a little bit more on the narrow side with these straps. It fits very nicely and kind of conforms into that pocket on the bottom side of the mirror. more

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors Installation - 2020 Mazda CX-5- Video

Andy here from etrailer.com and today we're going to take a look at the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirror on our 2020 Mazda CX-5.So whether you're towing something behind your vehicle or you're driving on a busier highway where you want a little bit more view, these mirrors are going to give you a pretty expansive field of view added onto your stock mirror.So looking at some of the features, having the ratcheting knobs is nice, that way you can kind of get that custom fit and adjusting these rubber sleeves underneath gives you that extra padding and protection against the paint and finish on your stock and factory mirror.Another thing to look at too is, it still gives you a visual for that mirror turn signal, so other vehicles that are going to be around you will still be able to see that when you have your blinkers on.So to adjust the mirror here, you can see that it is very easy just to get the right adjustment made to wherever you need to see. Also, the clamps here that support on the top and the bottom of your factory mirror, extend a little bit more, that way it's going to be a solid fit. So with the clamps that are on the top and the bottom, you can still adjust the factory mirror with the automatic knob that's inside the vehicle.Now, overall, a couple of my final thoughts are going to be, if you are looking for a mirror that is going to help with some visibility, whether you're towing something, or you just want that extra coverage from lane to lane, this is going to be a great option. Although there is a little bit of a fit issue with the bottom of it here, being a little on the narrower side or smaller side, it kind of wants to tend to slide off just a little bit. But other than that, it is going to be a great option if you're just looking for a nice, easy way to get that extra visibility when you're driving.Okay, we're going to go ahead and install it on our mirror. more

Today on your 2006 Ram 1500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install K-Source's custom flip out towing mirrors.This towing mirror is going to be a direct replacement for your factory mirrors. They're going to extend out significantly further than what the factory mirror did, and that's going to give you a much better viewing angle at your trailer. One of the things that I really like them though, is that since they are a permanent install, they looked like they we're supposed to be on the truck right from the factory because they match in very nicely with the textured black plastic. And they maintain all the functionality of your factory mirrors. I can still adjust them using the switch inside my truck to get that proper tilt without even having to open my window on those cold days. more

Adam: What's going on everybody Adam here with etrailer today, we have a 2020 Ram 1500, and we're going to be taking a look at the snap and zap K-Source custom fit towing mirrors. So if you have a Ram 1500, these are going to be the best mirrors, in my opinion, they fit really, really well, and they really look good too. As you can tell, we do have a somewhat similar finish to them. So it kind of blends in, kind of looks somewhat OEM. I kind of like that and it also, we're not going to lose the function of our turn signals. So we have a little clear lens here and on the side. more

There's no need to worry about damage happening to our existing mirrors. We have these nice, soft, yet durable, rubber straps. So it's going to give a good grip, but not scuff up the finish on our mirrors. We're going to get a rather large mirror and it's going to be a flat mirror, so it's not going to be concaved or convexed and we are going to be able to tilt it right, left, up and down. more

These are going to be a really nice, affordable way to give you a little bit better visibility when you're going down the road, whether you're hauling a boat like we have here today, or a camper like we have back here. Anytime you have something at the back of your vehicle, it's a little bit more difficult to see around it, so especially when we're trying to change lanes or we're backing up, we want that wider field of view just for safer conditions because the factory mirrors that we have, they do a good job, but they're designed for your vehicle. So adding that extra width out there is going to be a much safer way of going about it.So here I am at the back of the trailer. You can see me just fine in the factory mirror, which is nice, but where I think these mirrors shine is when we're changing lanes. more

Today, we have a 2020 Toyota Tundra and we have some cool Custom Fit Slip-On CIPA Towing Mirrors.Not only is this going to just widen your view, to be able to see some of the longer loads you may be hauling, it's also going to eliminate a lot of those blind spots that those factory mirrors won't be able to show you. It's going to give you peace of mind going down the road, so you're not just white knuckling, the wheel, just guessing whatever's going on behind you. It's going to keep your stuff safe and everybody else too.We are going to get both a driver's side and passenger side mirror with this kit and they're going to come with one big old mirror here and it is going to be able to pivot right and left, up and down. So you're going to be able to adjust it exactly how you need it, to be able to see whatever load you may be hauling.It's not really going to add a whole lot of length to our mirrors. more

Hey everybody, it's Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the CIPA clip-on towing mirror on our 2018 Jeep Cherokee. Now, here I am in the back of my trailer, hooked up to our Cherokee and you can see me in the factory mirror. But the problem comes in when I step away, you're going to lose track of me, but that's where a towing mirror is going to help out.It's going to give you that wider field of view so you can see to the lane over, so you can safely make that lane change, park your trailer, or possibly even just pull up at the campgrounds. That wider field of view definitely helps out seeing everything and it gives us the confidence that we can safely get down the road. Because, let's face it, it's not really a good practice to stick your head out the window, to see what's going on with your trailer behind you.Now, our towing mirror is going to secure itself to our factory mirror, and again provide us an additional mirror so we can see what's going on. Now, the mirror itself is fully adjustable. more

Now I got my trailer hooked up to my Edge here, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror. That's usually not a problem, but when we're going down the road and we're pulling our trailer, maybe we need to change lanes on the highway. That's when it starts to become a problem, because we can't see that far over, especially this far back from our Edge.So a lot of us end up sticking your head out the window, but then we're taking our eyes off the road and that's really not a good practice.Well, that's where our towing mirror is definitely going to help. more
